Double loading of splash screen

That worked better. It still takes a while to load but at least I don't have splash screens loading and disappearing.

I disabled the unused plug ins. Not much difference.

That is helpful. It takes at least 30 seconds to finally show the LR Classic desktop/

I created new catalogs. Before the image above, I uninstalled and reinstalled LR classic and had the same problem.

The data are on a SATA SSD and the programs are on a NVMe SSD. Those test without problems.

I just have to wait and then it is fine.
