Draw Face Region tool won't let me draw new faces

Question

I'm going through my photos and labeling the faces in them in Lightroom Classic 14.2 release on Windows 11, and the Draw Face Region tool won't keep the face rectangles that I draw. I drag a rectangle out, then it disappears when I release the mouse button. Is this a known bug? Does anybody know a fix or why this may be happening?

First try to reset the preferences of Lightroom Classic: How to reset Lightroom Classic preferences (adobe.com)

It's recommended to backup your preferences before you reset the preferences to the default settings:

If his doesn't help we need more informations about your system.

Please provide a copy of your 'System Info'. This can be get from the LrC Help > System Info menu item. There's a copy button in the System Info dialog. Press this button and paste the info into your next forum post.
