[Duplicate, locked] "Edit in" not working

I am using Lightroom 12.5 on Windows 10.

"Edit in" is not working. All third party apps including Photoshop show but are unavailable. Did I accidently change something in Preferences. Of course I am in the middle of a job that needs to be finished by Monday.

Can anybody tell me how to re activate Edit In.

Are you trying to edit a "SMART PREVIEW"? External editor only works on an original file. The drive containing the original image may not be connected
