Duplikate im Lightroom Katalog

Lightroom-Classic, Apple mini,

As @dj_paige wrote it seems that you have acidently imported the photos twice. To prevent this in the future mark the option "Don't import Suspected Duplicates" in the import settings.

Here you'll find infos which you can help to find duplicates easily.

Many thanks.

As mentioned before, there is only one picture stored on the disk, but the catalog is showing TWO pictures.
any idea how to fix?

Your screenshot only shows the top of the picture frame. Look at the bottom right. Do you see a small curly corner? If so, then the 'duplicate' is actually a virtual copy, not a real copy.

You (accidentally) imported the photos twice. And so you need to decide which of the two versions of the photo you want to keep in LrC. It is possible that one has develop settings while the other does not; or perhaps one has user-provided metadata, while the other does not. If that is the case, it may be simple to select the ones that do not have edits or do not have metadata.
