Easily add to object?

Hi all,

I find the object selection tool in the mask panel to do quite an adequate job so far. Sometimes though, and that is specifically true for clothing, I will select all parts of a shirt but the AI only selected the front or left sleeve and left out the right sleeve. Oftentimes this happens because of a pattern in the clothing.

Now is there a way to easily add the right sleeve to the selection without creating a new object, or using a brush?

Happy New Year!

Yes you do have to add another mask component, but to keep things simple make sure you’re adding the new object or brush to the existing mask (using the Add button), not creating a whole new mask.

An object mask does work differently than a brush mask. Lightroom Classic lets you paint to modify an selected brush mask, but it doesn’t let you modify a selected object mask, which is why you have to Add or Subtract to make corrections to an object mask.

I think those are the only two options.
