Edit In Photoshop 2022 23.5 will not launch from Lightroom Classic 11.5

Question

Following recent updates, Ps 2022 v23.5 will not reliably launch from Lr Classic v11.5. It will once in a while, but not like before. (Camera Raw is v14.5). If I've been lucky enough for it to launch, and it won't right after that, I have to use Task Manager to stop task, and then it might if I try to open it again.

I'm using most current updated version of Windows 64 OS.

Help, as this has totally distrupted my ability to work.

When the 'link' between Lightroom Classic and Photoshop has issues, one of the first things to try is this:
1. Use the Adobe Creative Cloud application to uninstall both Photoshop and Lightroom Classic and when asked, keep preferences.
2. Install Photoshop first, then Lightroom Classic.
