Yes, common fix. A bit less commo, but often advised by some mebers if that did not work is to accomplish the followinf (have you??)

Uninstall BOTH PS and LrC

Reinstall PS (first, PS must go first)

Reinstall LrC

I'm on a PC and the updates worked.  I can "Edit in Photoshop 2024".   If it were me I would uninstall the Creative Cloud app and reinstall it.  Then I would uninstall both Photoshop and Classic followed by reinstalls for them.   

Another possibility might be to reset the Lightroom Classic preferences.   That is a common suggestion when Lightroom starts "acting goofy".

If that doesn't work, I would initiate an Adobe support online chat.
