Help needed!  When trying to free up space on my computer I deleted temporary files and unused apps. After I did that, the option to click edits photos in Photoshop from the develop module in Lightroom is now greyed out. I have tried all the suggestions I could find. Uninstalled and reinstalled both multiple times, restarted computer, made sure the photos were not missing etc.  does anyone have any advice on how to fix this issue?

Hi @Laura34530129tc6w, welcome to the Lightroom Classic Ecosystem forum! To better help you on this issue, we need a few more details to try to help.

  1. Update Software: Make sure that both Lightroom Classic and Photoshop are updated to their latest versions. You can do this through the Adobe Creative Cloud Desktop application .

  2. Permissions: Ensure that both Lightroom Classic and Photoshop have the necessary permissions to access and modify files on your computer. On macOS, you can check this in the System Preferences under Security & Privacy.

  3. Clear Cache: Clear the cache in both Lightroom Classic and Photoshop. This can help resolve issues related to file handling and display.

  4. Check Installation: Ensure that both the regular version of Photoshop and any Beta versions are installed correctly. Sometimes, the Beta version might override the regular version in the system preferences.

If possible, please also share screenshots or screen recordings of the issue you're seeing in Lightroom Classic along with your system info. You can find it by going to Help > System Info, then copying and pasting it into a text file to attach here. This will help us look into it further. Thanks! ^CH
