Edit in Photoshop Not Launching

Hi:

 

I have the most recent versions of Lightroom and Photoshop installed and when in Lightroom if select to Edit in Photoshop 2004, a message pops up that Ps won't launch.

    Seems I have to give this answer several times each day: Uninstalling Lightroom Classic and Photoshop, and then reinstalling Photoshop first and Lightroom Classic second usually solves this.

      Why it isn't a permanent "sticky" right on the top of the first forum page, is beyond me - it would go some way to making this place less like Groundhog Day.

       

      People searching/browsing the board before posting would help too - time was, that was Netiquette Rule No. 1.
