Edit in Photoshop not working after one use

It seem that lot of people had a similar issue where Edit In Photoshop was greyed out. I saw the solution to uninstall both programs and then reinstall them with Photoshop done first and THEN Lightroom. So I did that, and the problem was fixed... once. Now when I go to my next set of 2 photos I want to edit in Photoshop, the OPTION for Edit in Photoshop is there, but when I do it, neither of the photos get sent to Photoshop. I closed Photoshop and Lightroom and tried again and still neither photo opens in Photoshop.This is a major issue because I'm doing window pulls for interior design photos and this is a major step.
