Edited image in PS from LRC is saved to new folder

When I send a photo to PS from LRC for editing then save it, a new folder is created in LRC library and the edited photo is saved there. I then have to go to that new folder to open the image in the development module for further editing. Why is this happenning all of sudden? I use iOS, Thanks

I assume you use MacOS, not iOS. iOS is the system software of iPhones. If a new folder is created, then that is an indication that you have encountered the 'capitalization error'.

So, your PS is not on a MAC computer, but instead on an iPad or Smartphone?

And are you talking about Lightroom Classic or Lightroom Ecosystem?
