Edits lost when setting up external storage

Thank you- 1i'll give this a try. Re the three changes- bad luck- my operating system was found to be corrupted and needed to be replaced- when you do this, you  need to reboot all on line applications. 

There is no importing after moving folders from one hard disk to another. The proper method is explained in this document. Remember: no importing. So go back to your catalog from before this import, and use that and follow the instructions and do NOT import.

During this transfer, I also upgraded my operating system and downloaded a new LRC. 

I suggest that this is a horrible horrible horrible strategy. Do one major change at a time, get it to work, confirm it is working properly, and then move on to the next change. When you make 3 major changes at once, its much harder to figure out what causes the problems.
