  • Which version of Lightroom are you using (Lightroom Classic or Lightroom Desktop, and the exact version number)?

  • What operating system and version are you on (Windows or macOS)?

  • What exact error message do you see when you try to open the catalog?

  • Did this start happening after an update, crash, or system change?

  • Have you tried opening a backup catalog, and if so, does it open?
