Why have you not updated to the last version of LR6?

That would be LR 6 sub version 14, aka v6.14

Thats lightroom 6 point fourteen, not lightroom 6 point one four

as in fourteen is highest than 8. not as in 8 is higher than one four (v6.8 older than v6.14)

The link to update LR v6.14 will confuse you, you will think it is a link for LR 6.0, it is not, in the end you get 6.14

After you download the new version install files, keep them on hand. You never know when Adobe will, and they will, remove them from a readily available web page

According to the published list of supported cameras, that model requires at least Lightroom 6.9. https://helpx.adobe.com/camera-raw/kb/camera-raw-plug-supported-cameras.html#Supportedcameramodels

Is that really what the message says? What is the model of the new camera? Have you considered updating your Lightroom to 6.14?
