Error on launch

Hi all, I recently copied my lightroom catalague (along with previews, .irdata, etc. files) onto my travel computer so I could work while I am away and off I went...wont be back at my main PC for 4 MONTHS!. But I just tried to open the catalalogue on my travel PC and got the following error message:

The procedure entry point CrashReporterInitialize@@YA_NPEAXPEBD1111P6A_KAEAV?$           basic_string@DU?$char_traits@D@std@@V?$allocator@D@2 @@std@@@ZP6AXXZ_N@Z could not be located in the dynamic link library C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Lightroom Classic\Italy.exe.

I have no idea what Italy.exe is...I think at one point I did have a catalgue with that name but it was a long time ago and has nothing to do with the catalogue I am trying to open now. Im on Windows 10 with my travel PC. My Main PC was also running windows 10, not sure what version of Lightroom CC I was using, might have missed one, maybe two updates, but was certainly not WAY behind in updates. On my travel PC, the one that won't let me open the catalgue I am for sure running the most updated version of Lightroom CC (12.1).

This will be a total disaster if I cannot get this to work. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!

@Jordan5F8D no need to post your question more than once.

Let's all discuss there in your other thread https://community.adobe.com/t5/lightroom-classic-discussions/error-on-launch/td-p/13437438 where I have already posted what may be an explanation.

Thanks for the idea, but it seems that is not an option currently. If you follow the link you provided there is no option to actually do that scan, the person who runs the wensite mention that that service is not running at the moment. Any other ideas you might have I'm all ears!

Yes, I have other ideas.

Search on the Internet for advice about italy.exe

Find a discussion board that specializes in this type of malware and ask your questions there. Here in the Adobe forums, we are not experts in malware. But there are places out there on the internet where you can get advice and instruction from people who are experts in malware.
