Error when calling LrDevelopController.getValue("local_Amount")

Question

I am sending all values from the Develop Controller to another application via my plugin, and I just realized that when I call `LrDevelopController.getValue("local_Amount")` I receive this error:

`?:0: attempt to perform arithmetic on field '?' (a nil value)` crashing my plugin in a rather severe way that need Lightroom to restart, or it will eventually lock up completely.

Is this a known bug or is there any kind of workaround available?

Sounds like a bug. As a first step in getting a bug report submitted and/or finding a workaround, select the photo for which it is occuring and do File > Export As Catalog, with the options Export Select Photos Only and Export Negative Files. Then open the exported catalog -- does the problem still occur? If so, zip up the catalog folder, upload it to Dropbox, Wetransfer, Google Dirve, or similar free service and post the sharing link here. We can see if the issue occurs on other installations.
