I am unable to run Lightroom Classic more that 5-10 minutes. It crashes with Exception code: 0xc0000374.

I have a new Dell PC:

Intel i9 CPU, with 64GB RAM, 4TB SSD x2, 12TB SATA, and NVIDIA GEForce 4090 GPU with 24GB RAM, and a few other dongles.

It is a new download of Windows 11, and all new drivers - everything is up to date.

Please don't suggest a driver update, or SCANNOW, or DISM unless you have a specific reason that a new system would have an anomaly with a new download of the Adobe Suite.

I am desperate to finish edits for photos for sale.

I have been searching the web for solutions and no answers.

Please help.

Please post your System Information as Lightroom Classic (LrC) reports it. In LrC click on Help, then System Info, then Copy. Paste that information into a reply. Please present all information from first line down to and including Plug-in Info. Info after Plug-in info can be cut out as that is just so much dead space to us non-Techs and it takes up vast amounts of scroll space making the reply less readable and less likely that others will bother with your post.

Thank you. I may have made progress on this.
Even though this was a fresh install of my apps as of March 21st, I uninstalled everything (including preferences and Creative Cloud Desktop), and reinstalles starting with Creative Cloud Desktop.
I have had only one crash in 3 days (same error code). Prior, I had 3 crashes per hour.

I have now been able to edit (or reject) ~2000 photos!!!

If the frequent crashes start again, I will reply to you with the system info.

I have a new Dell PC:

1. So, please verify this assumption, that LrC in this computer has not worked properly from day one.

2. Have you restarted the computer, not a shutdown, but a restart? As to clear it.

I have been using Lightroom for 10+ years.
This started in December, 2023 - very infrequently at first. In early March, 2024, I could still get 1-2 hours work done between crashes. Now, it crashes in less than 15 minutes.

Searching these forums for 0xc0000374 turns up many answers marked correct.

Thank you. I have exhaustively search for, and tried, several "solutions" in the community as well as in the web in general. Nothing helps. Today, I installed the "OpenCL, OpenGL, and Vulkan Compatibility Pack" to see if that would change anything. It did not.

One thing I can add: my catalog is roughly 50GB in size. I wonder if Adobe has a problem with that, even though they say there is no limit.

There is no limit. Do you mean that your photos take up 50GB, or the size of the folder where the catalog is stored is 50GB, or the catalog file itself is 50GB, or something else?

Also, make sure to use the latest GPU driver directly from Nvidia: https://www.nvidia.com/download/driverResults.aspx/223498/en-us/

First, try if it helps to reset the preferences as described here, although I doubt it will.

If the issue persists, remove Lightroom, reboot and reinstall it. Your photos and the catalog are safe while doing this.
