Export Dialogue not showing in develop Module

Question

Title says it all. Trying to bring up the export dialogue in the develop module and nothing shows. If you go to the web module it will pop up then, or if you do something to the catalog, like an optimise.
Is this a catalog corruption? I read anther thread where a roll back to any earlier catlog backup was needed. Surely not, I've done a lot between the previous backup and now, I'd loose a lot of work.
 
Is this a bug with the current version?

First, restart your computer. If the problem persists, try resetting LR's preferences:

LR sometimes soils its preferences file, and resetting it can fix all sorts of wonky behavior. That article explains how to restore the old preferences if resetting doesn't help.

If resetting doesn't help, do the LR menu command Help > System Info and copy/paste the entire contents here so we can see exactly which versions of hardware and software LR thinks you're running and important LR options that are set.

It's unlikely to be catalog corruption.
