Export not working

Using Lightroom CC v14.2,   I cannot export anything.    In develop mode,  I go to file,  export and nothing.   The dialogue box does not appear.  I have tried it in library mode,   same thing,  no dialogue box.   I uninstalled and reinstalled but that was weird because it said it uninstalled and the reistall said it was installed,   but when I openned it,  Lightroom openned into the same pictures I was trying to export.    I would have thought I would had to point it to the cat.    This is weird,   I have 700 pix I need to export today.    Thoughts,  suggestions?

Well, nothing helped.... I uninstalled everything. I deleted all settings. After reinstalling and using the catalog, it was not possible to export again. It seems that Library - Previews - Build smart Previews finally helped me... Try it!

Yes, I have the same problem. Adobe support tried to solve the problem using remote desktop, but the problem could not be solved. Restarted preferences, uninstalled LrC...
Yes, if a new catalog is created, the export works. But that is not the solution! Support told me that the catalog is too large and that is the problem. But until the LrC update, everything was fine!

Hmmm, from another members post, and another members possible fix, have you considered resetting your LrC preferences file? The LrC preferences file can get corrupted leading to all sorts of issues.

If you create a new catalog, import some photos into it, and then try an export, does the problem continue in that new catalog?
