Export photos from LR cloud to local hard drive

I synced some edited photos to the cloud in LR Classic. 11.5  I accidentally deleted the latest version of the catalog. I am using the previous backup, but the collection for these photos is now empty and LR cannot find the files. Obviously I still have the original RAW files, but would like the edits back top save doing the work again. And they are still in the cloud, but I cannot get them to sync back to the collection. I think I need to export the photos from the cloud to my local hard drive, then reimport into LR. But how do I export from the cloud? - I cannot find that option anywhere. I tried LR downloader but it still did not download them - even though I can see them on my screen. Any help gratefully received.
