I have LR 6.7 with windows 10.  When I went to export to a flash drive, no Shift/Ctrl + E.  File menu grayed out.  Thanks

You can run both Lr CC and 6 simultaneously. Here's how this can be done How to convert a Lightroom CC trial to Lightroom 6

Also, This is basic but still make sure you have your files selected in the timeline when you export.

    Hi lanecito,

Please check the USB port connecting flash drive to your computer. This issue normally occurs with improver connectivity. Try swapping the  USB port and see if that helps.

    Thanks,

The problem exists before the USB drive is inserted--the export option is always grayed-out.  Since my catalog is on an external HD, I moved THAT to a different port, to no avail.

I'm wondering.  I had considered Creative Cloud and downloaded a trial version.  When I decided against CC, I went ahead and installed LR independently.

CC still bugs me about updates, which I ignore, and I did not uninstall it for fear of shooting myself in the foot somehow.

Can the 2 versions on my laptop have some sort of conflict?  Can I go ahead and delete CC?

      And thanks, Akash.
