Export pictures without any metadata except 'description'

Hi! For use in my website I need to export pictures out of Lightroom without containing any metadata except 'description'. Is there a possibility to manage that? Or is there third party software to do that? Please help.

That is odd… When I went to check on it today, I used Google and it led me straight to the web page, where I downloaded the latest version of the plug-in. Just now I clicked on that link in my earlier reply, and it took me there instantly. Maybe there is some kind of filtering going on in your web browser, by a browser plug-in or something? For example, if your web browser is running a content blocker, try temporarily disabling it. Or, see if it works if you try going to that address in a different web browser.

Succeeded. Downloaded via another browser. Installed in Lightroom and it works perfectly. Thanks!

Create virtual copies for all the photos you wish to export, and apply a metdata preset to them as GoldingD explained.

You could create a metadata preset, specifying blank (nothing) for most AND specifying for each one of those to apply the changes, Except for Description. Then apply the preset to the exported images.

Thanks. I hope I understand your solution well. But as far as I know self created presets cannot be exported within the pictures.

That level of control isn’t available in Lightroom Classic itself, but I think you can get there using the fine-grained exclude/include metadata features in Jeffrey Freidl’s Metadata Wrangler plug-in. It allows presets, so you can create a preset with everything excluded except Description.
