Export problem - Lr does not export jpgs

hello everybody.

i'm getting crazy about an export problem that occurs every 3-4 times I export jpgs from my catalogues: the process seems to start but nothing happens, the process bar doesn't move and the only thing I can do is to abort, close and re-open lightroom and then export again my pictures.

has anybody had to deal with such a problem?

thanks everybody for your replies, and i'll try to follow your advices. the fact is on the other mac i'm using no problems at all occur, even with bigger files and limits.

Can you post a screen shot of your export settings? Is the location that you are trying to export to the same on both computers?

here you are a screenshot, but unfortunately it happens with all kind of settings and with no regard which folder i'm trying to export to...

Well in this instance your export file size is huge. Try changing your Resize to fit to something smaller like 8" x 10".

What is your exact version (numbers, not latest or alike) of LR and your OS?

lightroom classic cc 7.5 release.

macOS high sierra 10.13.6.

but on my laptop, same lightroom version and same os version, everything works fine.
