Export results in "There was an unknown error"

Hi there!

 

I am using the DJI Mini 3 drone and create 360 degrees sphere, then I stitch the pieces to a 360 degrees file (using Photomatix 6) and import it to Lightroom (latest version, Mac). The file sizes are around 20-25 MB.
If I export the file just like that - everything is fine, but if I do some editing (e.g. just Auto Tone), then export gives me usually the error "There was an unknown error".

It's been like that for many months.

 

And it doesn't happen anywhere with any other files/photos I'm working with.

Did anyone experience this as well? Any idea how to solve it?

    Hello, same problem here. I am running latest LrC on Windows 11. Filesize: JPG with 22.556 x 11.278px created by PTGUI from a spheric panorama DJI Mavic 3 pro.

    I create a JPG with same dimenstion, color space and image content with Photoshop, applied the "bad" preset an exported it without problems. If I reduce image size by half, also no problems.

    @Nir28580027zx92  are you also using PTGUI to create the panorama images?

    I did some research. And it's a tricky one. It seems to me that the SHADOWS function is the critical adjustment.

    Testcase: Take PTGUI and create a 2:1 panorama (JPG or other format) larger than 17.300 x 8650 px. Import it into LrC. Export it as JPG. Should export OK. Adjust only SHADOWS + or -. Export it again, I get the "An error occured..."


    A possible quick work around could be, not to use SHADOWS Adjustments (including Auto Adjust).

    What really irritates me is the fact that a newly created JPG with Photoshop with the same image content, with the critical dimensions and the adjustment of shadows is exported without any problems. Scratching my head...

      I have to add that HIGHLIGHTS adjustments also lead to the error.
