Question

export slideshow Just Doesn't Work

While running a newer version of Lightroom CC Classic, I tried using the 'export as video' option in the slideshow module.  Doesn't work at all.

Have tried repeatedly on both my Macbook Pro and Windows machine.  Have also tried a variety of resolutions (1080p, 720p, all the way down to 480x270).  For all of these, it seems to take forever to process.  For-ever, really.  I've had a 57 photo slideshow exporting now for more than a day, and the progress bar is still waaay early.

Totally unacceptable - this appears to have been a long-standing issue (there's been forum activity about this for more than a year).

Also not seeing any tangible response from Adobe folks on any of these threads.  Not building this customer's confidence, seriously.

I had many issues with slideshows and it alway was caused by low disk space. You need to have around 40 GByte on C. Check if you have that. Repeated aborted slideshow exports do not clean up and consume amazing amounts of hard disk space in the wildest corners of your disk.

Can you run a test, exporting a new sideshow using other images NOT in the current slideshow? I'm wondering if one is an issue and locking up the process.

Hi there,

Sorry to hear that "Export as Video" feature is not working, could you please let us know the exact version of Lightroom Classic you're working on by going to Help > System info?

Also, what video format are you trying to export the video in?
Does Lightroom freeze when you choose export as video?

Regards,
Sahil

PLEASE follow the testing instructions. Can you export a different, smaller set of images AS A SLIDESHOW?
