EXPORT, STACK, LIKE and COMMENT filters do not allow to reset in menu

All four of the new filters that allow to filter by EXPORT status, STACK status, LIKES and COMMENTS need to be manually toggled off to disable them. None of these allows to select the NO FILTERS option from the drop-down menu to reset them, especially when combined with other filters. When any of these filters is enabled, the drop-down menu only shows choices CUSTOM FILTER (which this is), SAVE CURRENT SETTINGS AS NEW PRESET and RESTORE DEFAULT PRESETS.

This is a bug or overlooked necessity.

    To remove ambiguity, are you saying that the Filters Off menu item is not appearing in the drop-down menu, as shown in @drtonyb’s screenshot?

    Yes, that is exactly what I was saying, I described what the menu shows in the OP. However, I was able to fix it by resetting the filters to factory defaults. Not sure why this disappeared selectively, I suspect that the introduction of the new version did this, as it was only for the new filters.

    @JLobert Yes, that is exactly what I was saying, I described what the menu shows in the OP.

    The original post mentioned No Filters but not Filters Off, which is where the ambiguity arose.

    That’s very possible. I noticed that the last phase of updating my catalog was a message that said something like “Updating filters”. There have been other bugs with updating filters that may be dependent on previous versions that had been installed:

    @JLobert None of these allows to select the NO FILTERS option from the drop-down menu to reset them … the drop-down menu only shows choices CUSTOM FILTER (which this is), SAVE CURRENT SETTINGS AS NEW PRESET and RESTORE DEFAULT PRESETS.

    @drtonyb Selecting ‘Filters Off’ turns them off.

    @JLobert As I said, I don’'t have that option. That appears only for the older filters.

    Note that the No Filters and Custom Filter menu items are status indicators -- clicking on them never has any effect. (It’s not a great UI design.)

    If indeed Filters Off is not appearing partway down the drop-down menu, try doing Restore Default Presets at the bottom. That will not, repeat not, affect your own saved presets.

    Here’s another screenshot from my LR 15.4 showing Filters Off correctly appearing when Filter Based On Export Status is selected:

    @JLobert

    Are you saying that you still have a problem? ‘Filters Off’ resets all my filters to off, including those you specify.

    Selecting ‘Filters Off’ turns them off.
