Hi everyone,

I've just noticed that LR Classic ignores my edits when exporting videos and just copies the original video. The only thing that works is renaming the file. But the content is exactly the same.
I am using a MacBook Pro, macOS 14.0 (23A344) and Lightroom Classic 13.1 [ 202312111226-41a494e8 ].
Example:
Original video 4k h.265 1.5 GB
Trimmed to approx. half the duration in LR Classic.
Export Settings (File > Export) Full HD h.264
Result after export still 4k 1.5 GB
I have also reinstalled LR Classic and created a new catalog. I have also tried it with different videos which are saved in different locations and exported to diffenrent locations. nothing works.
Can anyone help me? Can anyone reproduce this?

Thanks, Erol

In the Export settings window, is Image Format set to Original? E.g.

If so, change it to something else. It's a design misfeature that you can't do that if you just have videos selected.  So select a non-video, do File > Export, change Image Format to JPEG, then click Done. Now try to export the video.

If this doesn't help, select one video, do File > Export, and post a full-resolution screenshot (not a phone pic) of the entire Export window.
