Hi,

I have a tif image which was created in DeepSkyStacker and then editied. However when I export the image it looks vastly different to the image in the develop module. I have tried viewing the exported image in Lightroom and photoshop and it is nothing close. Here is a screen grab of the image as it appears in Lightroom develop module:

And here is the image as exported and then viewed in Lightroom:

I have no sharpening or filters applied and its the same if I export as jpg or dng. Appreciate any help/advice as its driving me a little crazy..

This is a classic case where you must view at 100 % - one image pixel represented by exactly one physical screen pixel - to get a true display of the pixel structure.

Remember, technically this is noise (no offense 😉  ), in other words random pixels or clusters of a few pixels. Any form of resampling will have a huge impact on the result - whether the resampling is on screen or the underlying data.

Anyone? Is there a way to escalate an issue?
