exporten photo's to JPEG

Hi, I work with two Sony camera's (same models) and when I have finished a fotoshoot with these two camera's I export my photo's in a separate map to JPEG. I send these photo's to my customer. Now is the order of these photo's (with the same date but different Capture Time) not on the capture time but on the camera, thus camera one and camera two. It seems that Lightroom Classic doesn't look at the time these pictures were taken.

This is very anoing because now I have to ask the customer to take care of the order of these photo's instead Is this a known issue or do I have a wrong handling of this export? I really can't fix it at the moment.

Kind Regards,

The way that exported files are sorted in a folder is determined by MacOS, not by Lightroom. What you can do however is add the capture date and time to the file name on export, so the files are sorted by capture date even when the folder is sorted by file name (which is the default).

In the photo metadata, the time these pictures are taken is still present (unless you are doing something to the metadata that hasn't been mentioned). So I don't know why you say that Lightroom Classic doesn't look at the time these pictures were taken. Have you sorted the photos by capture time in Lightroom Classic?

Furthermore, at least in Windows, you can sort the data by the capture date and time of the photos, and I assume that Mac has the same feature. So the exported files should also be sortable by capture date.
