Exporting Folder As Catalog Help :(

Ok so I've read so much info on catalogs and my brain can't comprehend it anymore so here I am. I'm using Lightroom Classic CC on Windows 10 system.

Recently my computer crashed after a Windows 10 Update and this resulted in some funky issues with my current Lightroom catalog. It still works, it's just super slow and is showing some folders as empty even though they aren't empty. I right clicked "Show in Explorer" and it shows the images in the folder on my computer, but it just won't show it in Lightroom. It shows the images with "!"  in the "All Photographs" section, but the folders are 0. I back up my system every time I exit Lightroom and check for issues. It hasn't told me the catalog is corrupt, but I'm still a little concerned since I've had a corrupt catalog before.

The folders that are showing as empty are folders I've already finished working on so they aren't exactly needed to show up in Lightroom, but I am afraid for my current workload. All of it looks fine and edits are normal, but I'm worried that the same thing will happen and I just want to start fresh just in case.

My question is, do I select the working folders and create a catalog from those and make that my main catalog, or do I create a new catalog on its own then re-upload and re-edit the images? I'd obviously rather not lose any of my edits, but I'm afraid that if I make a new catalog from the folders in the catalog that's having issues, that it will transfer those issues to the new catalog. Hopefully this makes sense.

I've made several attempts to find the right answer to this, but haven't come across a similar situation. If there is a forum questions similar please point me in that direction! Thank you!!

Can you post a screen shot of the left column with your folder panel expanded? Is it possible that in the Windows update a Drive letter was renamed?

    I don't think so?

My current workload folders are on my Working (W:) drive which is showing everything fine.

My RMP (R:) drive is where all of my edited exported Jpegs are stored. I also transfer the finished raw files from Working to RMP when they are done to keep my Working drive from getting too full.

It's currently showing all folders as 0 in RMP then this ( R: ) folder showed up with some raw files I recently transferred to that drive. I have no clue what's going on here.

You can see that it shows the missing images  with " ! " in the "All Photographs" section. Also I have no clue where Drive (F:) came from... It just showed up after the update.

I actually don't know why so many Folders/Drives show up in my folders section when I primarily use Working and RMP. I don't ever use the Local (C:) drive or (K:) drive

If you click on an exclamation point Lightroom will show you the path where it used to be located.

Can you expand the 2018 folder on the RMP drive that shows 1077 images in it?
