Exporting LR custom album order to iPhone "From My Mac" album

I like to manage my photos on my iPhone by creating albums in Lightroom CC Classic and exporting them to folders on my Mac.  Then I sync each folder to my iPhone using iTunes.  These folders appear in my iPhone Photos app as "From My Mac" albums.  Usually everything shows up on my phone in the order that I like it.  But when I do a custom sort in Lightroom before I export, my photos show up out of order on my iPhone.

I use custom filename and numbering in my export options so all my photos are named in order (File001.jpg, File002.jpg, etc).  But still they appear out of order on my phone.

Does anyone know:

1.) How the iPhone sorts photos when displaying "From My Mac" albums.

2.) If it's possible to change how the iPhoto sorts photos to "By Filename."

3.) If not, how do I need to export photos in order for the iPhone to understand my custom album sort order.
