Exporting PSDs with original file number

Is there a way to export a .psd from Lightroom with the original file number? It always defaults to a sequence number instead of the original file number once an image has been manipulated in photoshop and added the "edit" tag to the filename.

Maybe this is not an issue of the export function.

Please check the following setting in Lightroom Classic.

Go to Preferences > External Editing and the at the very bottom of the menue you will find "Edit Externally File Naming:" if this is set to "Filename" the name will not changed when you open it in Photoshop.

If you have already files with the added "edit" you would have to rename them, this will fix it only for the future.

I assume you are using Lightroom Classic, although you did not say that.

I have no trouble doing such an export and getting the original file number. What does your Export dialog box have selected under File Naming?
