Exposure and shadows are off during export

MAC Sonoma 14.1.2 (23B92).

LrC 16.1.

In my many years using LrC, I've only edited two photosets that were shot in a dark space. One was in a theatre, one was in a dark room. Both times, and only those two times, when exporting images to either JPG or PNG, SOME but not ALL images come out with shadows and exposures WAY lighter than in LrC while editing. I mean completely off -- going from a dark spot to completely blown out with a ton of noise (obviously.)

What gives? I can't find anyone else having this issue. It doesn't matter what device I view the export from. I checked if it was a particular lens I used during the shoot. It seems to be completely random. I'd attach examples, but I can't share these specific images publicly yet, but you can literally see what I'm seeing by going +100 on shadows or going up +2 on exposure on any dark/black areas of a photo.
