Extremely slow LR Classic since upgrading to 15.0 (and now 15.0.1).

I have been struggling wiht LR Classic since upgrading to the latest versions (15.0 and 15.0.1). I have follwoed all of the recommended fixed, including turning off automatic changes XMP, adjusting settings in NVIDIA to "prefer maximum performance", increasing cache size to 30, etc. I never had these issues before the upgrade, and nothing has changed with my computer. I have Windows 11 Pro, 64 GB, Dell CPS 8940.

At this point, LR Classic is nearly unusable. As an MFA student trying to get my work done, this is a huge problem!

From your system info:

Adapter #2: Vendor : 8086
Device : 4c8a
Subsystem : 9c51028
Revision : 4
Video Memory : 80

This is an integrated GPU – Intel UHD Graphics 750.

LrC doesn't like multiple GPUs, so try disabling it by going to Control panel > Device manager > Display adapters.

Richt click the Intel UHD Graphics 750 and choose Disable.

For the record, I find version 15.0.1 to be faster and more responsive than version 14.

In fact, I can't remember any version running so smoothly, and I've been using LrC since version 2 in 2008.

Many of us have reported serious performance issues with 15,  but I have not seen anything official come back from Adobe.

I went back to 14 and all is good.

I tried Per's suggestion.  It worked seamlessly for my first pic.  With the second photo LRC froze AGAIN!  Please tell me the best way to roll back to 14.  Thanks.

Thank you so much, Per! That made a huge difference. I must have accidentally installed it when I got a prompt from Intel. I really appreciate it!
