Failed Classic to CC migration

My catalog would not migrate from classic to CC. For a workaround, i migrated each collection vs the entire catalog. This successfully got me up and running in CC but with only Smart Previews. This means i cannot use the CC versions for downloads (e.g. prints), nor are my originals stored in the Cloud. How do i get my original images that were in my Classic catalog to sync to CC?

Spent a lot of time with Adobe chat and they seem out of ideas. Welcome any workarounds that solved similar issues

Sorry that you cannot migrate your catalog to Lightroom CC.

We'd need some more detail. Have you updated to the latest version of Lightroom Classic CC and Lightroom CC?
