Feature Request: Custom order in Smart Collection

Question

Please support a custom order in Smart Collections. I'd like to use Smart Collections to represent projects. I include a photo into a project by using a keyword set. I'd then like to reorder the photos within the Smart Collection to indicate their position in the project's sequence.

If there's an alternative but equivalent to this workflow, please let me know.
