File location troubles

Hi there,I recently posted however unfortunately was not able to resolve the problem. I am having difficulty locating some files in LRC. I believe it is due to the file location changing (long story everything on computer was wiped) I have files backed up to my external hardrive. I have shown LRC the new file location (external hard drive) when prompted to locate the files. It then goes into compolete meltdown and deletes all images in my catalogue. This was explained previously. LrC does NOT delete files from your catalog. It moves them to the new folders that you told LrC to look in.

Please go to "All PHotographs" and search for one or more of these photos (using the LrC Filter Bar) by file name or capture date. They're all in there.
