File locations in catalogs switched/lost

Fixed mine, was the drive letter changing fom Q to O  due to unplugging PC overnight to save energy. So ignore above post.

Me too, just imported some files from an SD card to an external had drive and now can only access those files from the latest import. Cant get lightroom to see parent folders so cant even synchronise to get them back. If I open the import dialoge it sees the missing files as  duplicates so they must be in the catalogue still.
