File number or sequence number ON IMAGE when exporting

I need BADLY the jpeg file name OR a sequential number to print ON THE IMAGE when exporting (not renaming a file or jpeg).  This way the client can tell me which image they want when i send 100 similiar images.

Why is this not in Lightroom? Should be in watermark editor OR in export.

The work around is the PRINT area, which is quite barbaric in nature for digital.

PLEASE ADOBE?   You mess with Ai and other useless features, but we NEED features that help us SELL images so we can PAY you.
