filename-Edit.tif does not appear in general search

I'll do my best to describe this issue.

MacBook Pro M2 Max running Vetura 13.2.1  |  LrC  12.21

Photos reside on an NAS.

1. For a photo named  "NohoCX_1943.NEF" within its collection "NoHo Cross", I've entered the keyword "portfolio".

2. Next, when I click on a collection set "Cyclocross" that contains all child collection sets that include "NoHo Cross", "Bethlehem Cup", etc.  I perform a text search for "porfolio" to collect/see all photos with this keyword.

"NohoCX_1943.NEF" appears. But if I want to edit this photo in an external editor, say PhotoShop or Topaz Sharpen,  the edited photo "NohoCX_1943-Edit.tif" does not appear in the search results for "portfolio". Looking in the Finder, "NohoCX_1943-Edit.tif" has been created in the same folder as the original image. Yet does not appear in the general search for "portfolio".

3. If I perform the same search for "portfolio" in the gallery clicking on "NoHo Cross", both files appear.

The issue is repeatable in multiple galleries.

I've restarted the computer, yet the issue remains.

Thanks, Johan. I think I fixed the issue. I always set View to Capture Time. Apparently this changes the '-Edit' file 'Capture Time' to the date that photo was created. Once I set view to File Name, the '-Edit' file appeared next to the original.

I'm not sure I understand the problem, but note this: if you send a photo from Lightroom Classic to Photoshop, then the returned tiff will not automatically be added to all the collections that contain the original photo. The tiff will only be added to the one collection (not the collection set) you were in when you sent the photo to Photoshop.
