Files stuck uploading

I have lightroom classic (7.4). I have a collection which is set to sync, but two files won't sync their changes to the online store. Under Preferences/Lightroom sync the two files stay in the sync activity list as 'Uploading'. (If I change another file in the collection, it also appears on the sync activity list, but then disappears after it syncs.). Any suggestions?

    Try removing those two photos from the collection and then adding them again.

    Unfortunately that doesn't work. They are still there. Is there a way to reset the sync database without losing my public links?
