Filmstrip Selection Broken in LRC 15.x

In Library/Loupe Module, when selecting multiple photos in the Filmstrip, any tagging action (Flag, Rating, etc) perform should only affect the currently targeted/highlighted photo, NOT all the photos selected. Works perfectly fine, the way it's supposed, to in the Develop Module

Originally reported via feedback in the Lightroom Classic app. Guess no one monitors those.

Sorry, but I don't understand exactly your issue.

If I select the appropriate images in the library module and I'm in the grid view, I expect that all these mared photos get the appropriate tagging action like star rating. And this works as I should.

During I'm in the loupe view in the library only the viewed image is rating no matter how many are marked.

Please decribe your issue more detailed. I would like to understand exactly what you mean.

Maybe you aren't understanding the answer. If you are using loupe view (not Grid view) in the Library, with multiple images selected in the Filmstrip, the only way that you should be able to apply metadata changes to the most selected image and see that change also applied to all the other selected images would be if you have activated AutoSync as described by @drtonyb . However, if you do not have AutoSync enabled and yet you still see those changes applied to all selected images in the Filmstrip, it might be worth trying a Preferences reset: https://www.lightroomqueen.com/how-do-i-reset-lightrooms-preferences/
