Filter Based on Metadata or Text Based Keywords

I love the filterting options in Lightroom allowing me to pull only what I need into the loop. I usually filter by color but the color system is sadly limited by 5 colors and I have a complicated workflow. For instance I mark pictures a certain color if I used AI on them, others based on edit status within the workflow.  Keyword filtering would be the most efficient way to do this, thus removing any limitations on pre-determined aspects of the editing tool.

LR provides filtering based on keywords. Are you asking how to do this?
