First edits get reset

Question

This happens when I make an edit with a shortcut within the first second or so of navigating to an image in the develop module. It's cramping my workflow badly.

iMac M1, 16GB, library on SSD, OSX Tahoe 26.1, LR 15.0.1 (Been happening for a few versions now.)

Hi @Joseph Allen-Keys! Thank you for reaching out! I can understand it must be frustrating, especially when this has been happening for a while now. Is this issue occurring with all types of images or only with specific ones?

Here are a few things you can try to fix this:

1) Try purging the Camera Raw cache from LrC's preferences: In Preferences > Performance> Click on 'Purge cache' in Camera Raw cache settings, as shown in the attached screenshot.

2) Turn off the GPU: In Preferences > Performance > select 'Off' for Use Graphics Processor.

3) Try resetting your preferences: A corrupted preferences file can cause various issues.
