Fix paste so other values stay the same

When you paste only a few settings it changes the other values to 0 (default) really messed up my work flow and now cannot paste single setting when I have already edited the photo

If you’re doing so many at once, it might be worth using “Sync Settings...” instead of Copy/Paste, to see if the performance is better.

What process are you using to copy/paste the settings? From the Library view, you can choose Photo > Develop Settings > Copy Settings, and then choose what settings to copy. When you move to another Photo and choose Photo > Develop Settings > Paste, only the specific settings you copied get pasted, and all other settings in the target photo are not adjusted at all from their current value.

I’ve just confirmed that this works as expected in the latest v15.5.1 of Lightroom Classic. Here in this example I’m copying just the Clarity and Dehaze settings, and when I paste, for instance, the exposure and color balance settings are not adjusted:

I can confirm that I do have the latest update v 15.5.1 and have been frequently looking for updates as this has been happening for a few months now. When I copy I am using hotkeys but and selecting the values that i want to copy and paste onto a photo. It is random, sometimes it will work on a few images but then some will default unselected values. This is also happening when I select many images and put on auto settings and then some of the photos will use auto settings and some will not be edited at all. I am finding that is it very random but the first few photos that are next to the selected will be edited and the photos that are a few hundred down will not be edited. I have also tried to reset my preferences and it still would not work.
