Fixed once - broke the next time I use! Import from LR to PS

I just purchased the PS and LR (couple weeks ago).

The first time I ever attempted to edit my image in PS from LR I got an error:

Could not open “file name.NEF” because of a disk error.

I reached out to support and they told me to unistall LR and reinstall. That did not work, but what did work was uninstalling PS and LR, then install PS first and then LR. Whaaala...it worked, I was able to edit in PS from LR!!

However the next time I tried to use it again (about 5 days) I got the same issue:

Could not open “File name” because of a disk error.

Am I going to have to uninstall/reinstall everytime I want to use the program?

PS 25.4.0

LR classi 13.1

iOS Sonoma 14.2.1

I was able to resolve. It was the disc permissions.

What disk is the photo on? Have you checked that disk for errors

What disk is the catalog on? Have you checked that disk for errors?
