Folder question

I have my photos in folders organized by year.  So, I have 2021 as a top-level folder and beneath it 2021-01-22 with photos in it, 2021-02-01 with photos in it, and so on.

When I look at the photos in the library module, I can see 2021 a top level folder and when I click on the down-arrow it shows me all the sub-folders.  For 2022 onwards, I see each folder - it doesn't show the 2022, 2023 top level folder. 

Is there a way to fix this?
