I create a folder to store photos for editing in Lightroom Classic, the folder is added and after editing the phottos, this folder is no longer visible in Lightroom and I only see a folder with the data the phots were taken, but the original folder is still in my local disk.

One likely possibility it that you (accidentally?) imported using COPY instead of ADD. The photos and your edits are still in your LrC catalog, try clicking on "All Photographs" in the LIbrary Module and searching for them by capture date or file name.

I create a folder to store photos for editing in Lightroom Classic,

How? Do you create the folder in a File Browser (Finder, Explorer)? Do your create it within the Lr-Classic Folder panel?

the folder is added and after editing the phottos,

Do you mean you imported the photos to the catalog using the [ADD] option to keep the photos in that created folder?

"editing" how? In Lr-Classic, in Photoshop, in a third party App?

this folder is no longer visible in Lightroom and I only see a folder with the data the photos were taken,

What is a "folder with the data"? What data? How displayed? And is that "Lightroom" or "Lightroom-Classic"?

but the original folder is still in my local disk.

In the folder panel of Lr-Classic? or in a File Browser?

Please include the following in your questions:
Adobe product and Version number.
A Screenshot of the info panel from MENU: Help/System Info...

Hello Rob,

Thnak you so much for the response.

I run Windows 11:

I run Lightroom classic 13.2:

I create the folder in my local C drive via window explorer and then I import the photos in Lightroom. I usee the add option to keep the photos in the existing folder in the C drive.

I do the editing/develop portion in Lightroom.

Here the problem I see, the original folders are not displayed in LR, I only see a folder with the data the took the photos:

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.
