Freezing on import

Hello,

I was working in light room yesterday and was working perfectly, I came to use it this morning and it freezes every time i try to import any images. I have been googling and it appears to be or have been a common issue. I have tried all the suggestions in other forums but nothing seem to be working. I can get into preferences and all the menu options, but as soon as I try and import it freezes and I have to go into task manage to close it off.

Looking for urgent help please, it's really holding up my work load!

Looks like one one possibility is issues with where you are importing to, even. If that location worked before, either hard drive space issues, or access rights issues (but why would access rights get changed)

nowmp, failed to ask, frezzes at what point, when you click on the button to go and accomplish the export? What if you change where you export to? Of course assuming space remains.

OS update? If Windows, did one show up yesterday?
