Question

From Lightroom to Hard drive

Hello community, I recently moved all my photos onto an external harddrive as my mac is running out of storage. I wish to continue editing these images within lightroom but now all my images have exclamation points and read "file cannot be found" when I try to edit.
Any help on how to fix this would be much appreciated 🙂

Thank you.  when I try to locate files from my drive in lightroom to edit I keep getting messages that say the photo is associated with another photo in the catalog and wont let me open it. How do I get around this?
Thanks !

You have imported the photo twice (or more than twice). It exists in two (or more) places in your LrC catalog. This needs to be fixed. Most likely one copy has edits and is missing because of the move, and the other copy is not missing and has no edits.

Please search in LrC for one of these photos by clicking on "All Photographs", then turning filters off, and then search using the Filter Bar by file name. Do you find two?
